DINING AT CRUZ
Bar Cruz is a natural extension of the Aptos story. We bring the exact same warm hospitality and deep focus on Australian cuisine that you expect from Restaurant Aptos, just in a different setting.

THE MENU
The food builds directly on the Aptos philosophy, celebrating native Australia ingredients and flavors, while adding a few distinct dishes that nod to Chef Justin’s American roots. You can build your own experience from our 14-item à la carte menu, or settle in for our five-course tasting menu with the options of a wine pairing or cocktail pairing.

ALL RESERVATIONS
All reservations are secured by a non-refundable $75 per person booking fee to secure your table, which will be deducted from your final bill. Please note that all reservations are non-refundable.

AMENDMENTS
Bookings may be amended up to 7 days prior to your reservation date. This includes changes to the date, time (subject to availability), and guest numbers. Within 7 days of the reservation, all bookings are considered final and cannot be altered.

RESERVATIONS & HOURS
We take bookings from 6:00pm Thursday through Saturday, and from 12:30 pm on weekends. While we highly recommend booking ahead, walk-ins are always welcome. If there’s a short wait for a table, we would love to host you in the Aptos Lounge for a quick drink.

SEATING & SPACES
Inside, we offer seating in the Cruz dining room and at the bar. When the weather is right, our outdoor dining area seats up to 14 guests, and our custom Teepee is always open. If you just want a drink, our lounge, Bar Mary and Teepee are the perfect spots to drop in.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
We kindly ask that any dietary allergies for your entire party be noted at the time of booking. Due to the size of our menu, we are unable to adjust all dishes to accommodate specific dietary requirements. If your needs involve significant menu changes, please contact us at info@restaurantaptos.com prior to booking so we can discuss the best options for your visit.

BEVERAGE & COCKTAIL PROGRAM
Our drinks are a direct extension of the kitchen. The cocktail menu focuses heavily on native Australian botanicals and culinary techniques, treating what goes into the glass with the same respect as what goes on the plate. For the wider beverage list, we keep things rooted in the Adelaide Hills. We pour our favourite local producers alongside great bottles from the rest of Australia and the world. Every bottle on the list is here for a reason, for its strong sense of place and the people who make it.

BAR MARY
Bar Mary is currently walk-in only and offers the full Bar Cruz menu.

CHILDREN
We warmly welcome children who are able to fully partake in our regular menu. However, due to the nature and duration of the experience, it may not be suitable for young children. Please note that due to the spatial constraints of our heritage building, we are unable to accommodate prams or highchairs in the dining space.

ACCESSIBILITY
Guests requiring accessible entry or mobility assistance are invited to contact us directly prior to their visit. Due to the unique layout of our historic building, not all floors are fully accessible; we will work with you personally to ensure a wonderful experience within the spaces available.

SURCHARGES
A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and groups of seven or more, and a 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.

To enjoy the Aptos experience to its fullest, we recommend using a rideshare service such as Uber. For those choosing to drive, we do provide an on-site parking lot for your convenience.

DRESS CODE
There is no formal dress code, but guests tend to dress for the occasion. Smart, elegant attire feels at home at Aptos.

PHOTOGRAPHS
Discreet personal photography is welcome. We ask that flash photography and filming be kept to a minimum out of consideration for other guests.

BYO
Aptos is fully licensed. We do not permit outside beverages.

SPECIAL OCCASSIONS & DECORATIONS
We love celebrating with our guests. However, balloons, confetti, and loose decorations are not permitted. If you would like us to arrange flowers for your table, we are happy to assist. Please reach out in advance, and we will take care of the details.
